Hi readers!

I'm happy to announce that my MNF Celine is coming home this weekend!!

*fingers crossed!*

I'm really happy, and today I thought about forgetting all about it and enjoy myself. Turns out that the moment you stop caring, things come!

It really isn't easy to find your perfect match. Honestly my opinion comes from me, I mean if you don't agree with it, it's fine with me too :) disclaimer said.

As a newbie, it took me a long time to make a decision to buying Celine. I've looked at Dream of Doll, LUTS, VOLKS, Azone, and IPLEHOUSE.

I had trouble choosing between LUTS Senior Delf Kara (Kara gave me that Megurine Luka feel, no idea why! maybe her outfit reminded me of Luka's Sandplay of Singing Dragon! LOL) over FairyLand's MNF Celine.

My boyfriend was eyeing on MNF Ante though, she's got the baby face features which makes her so adorable. For me, I don't quite fancy these 'pissy looking faced' or 'somewhat serious' dolls, Ante's default faceup gave me that impression of a 'tsundere girl'. It might be the way how her faceup was done. Nonetheless, she's still a lovely girl :)

I don't know anyone that does commissioning for faceups, so I didn't want to take the risk of buying a doll without her faceup. Better safe than sorry eh?

I was looking for a doll who has that 'innocent', 'sweet' and 'shy' look.

That's when I came across Celine, and I fell in love with her! I love the way how FairyLand gave her the feel of 'sweet elegance' yet 'sexy'. For some reason, the way her face was sculpted impressed me beyond words, how could a doll look both sexy yet innocent at the same time? That's when you look at this.

It's hard to find MSD dolls that have that 'matured' edge to them just like an SD doll except they are younger.

$ Price $ wise, I couldn't do the VOLKS. VOLKS dollfies have more of that anime feeling compared to realistic looking. I enjoy both types, but I'd personally love the more realistic looking ones such as DoD (they were probably the ones I've been admiring since years ago =w=)

For me, I'm thankful that MSD is a perfect size for me. I don't think I could handle an SD girl :)

It all comes down to these very few things for someone who is looking for their first BJD:

• The sculpt
• The size (SD? MSD? YOSD?)
• Your budget (if any)
• Your heart ❤

and Remember! Don't buy a doll because it's a 'trending must-have'. Don't buy a doll so that you can look 'cool' at your peers and lastly, don't buy a doll when you can't take care of them!

oh and try not to buy a RECAST. you're not only paying for something that is not original, you are supporting an illegal act, you not only do harm to the original sculptor, you also feed the industry who's doing it!

if like-minded people are to continously support recasts, what will happen to the BJD industry? They will lose out to recast companies and will close down ! :( This is the worse possible outcome that will come out from it.

Give some respect to the sculptor, if you appreciate and ❤ their work, support them by buying their work!

Blog update 14th November 2013

Hi my little readers!

So it turns out that since 7th November (the day my order status for my MNF Celine had changed to "Before shipping"), I've been oh-so thrilled to see her coming home that I literally go on to my FL account to check my order status the moment I wake up and before I go to bed. However, FL being FL, my fire of excitement had died out today.

The order status hasn't changed since,

I don't want to push FL with Celine, all I want is for Celine to reach home safely in good condition. All this waiting is driving me nuts. I have also bought a pair of cute over knee lace socks and patent/shiny black lolita shoes from kneko for Celine, I got worried over Celine's feet getting stained from the sole of her shoes, it's black. It's really hard to find MSD stuff that are being sold second hand here, most people here prefer SD sized dolls over MSD, not saying that there aren't any MSD owners out there in Malaysia, for one I know someone called kitty who owns MSD dolls :3 and my other friend nino too, not to forget kneko as well :)

About my hair color review, I'm ditching it, I'm sorry guys but the color really didn't come out that obvious. So I might choose another color sometime later, or get stubborn and force my hair to turn chocolate brown eventually. Till then, no more hair dye review.

The update is rather short for today, but that's probably about all I have to say for now.

I actually did a write up on Celine in one of my facebook notes sometime back and I figured out that I wanna publish it out on my blog here for any dolly owners who loves to read up on BJD stories.

Just a general story about Celine, my FairyLand Minifee girl.

Name: Celine
Age sixteen in the year 2013.
Date of birth: 26/11/1997
Horoscope: Sagittarius ❤
Blood type O, Fairy Girl (fee means fairy) living the luxurious life of a wealthy human bishoujo (pretty girl in Japanese).

Gifted with music from birth, she enjoys music of every kind but her most favorite is classical and jazz music.
She loves to play the cello.

For the most part of her life, she attends a prestigous, all girls japanese school.
She's just an average student, enjoys the company of others. 

Although Celine is in the care of a wealthy family, she always helped the stray on the streets on her way home. Sometimes, she'll come home with her uniform dirty :O

Not to forget the boys outside of school that catch a glance of her from afar, though not a single one has really attempted to make friends with her (this i don't know, probably a silly reason to not-spend-anymore-to-getting-another-boy-BJD-for-her-boyfriend excuse =w=)

**btw, if I ever had any idea as to who the guy's gonna be. I have already imagined Dream of Children's Homme Kirill to be her boyfriend in the near future :) ❤ **

Because of Celine's matured and beautiful figure at such young age, she is also hired as a model for clothing stores and gets some side income from the modeling career as well. She strongly believes that modeling is not a suitable job for her in the future even though she is doing rather successfully.

Celine has not thought up about her future career, but right now she's enjoying life in the moment!

Regarding preferences for food, Celine's not particularly fussy about what she eats.

Oh, for the record the reason to why I'm suddenly posting this up is because today, I'm a happy girl ^_^ ❤

my order status has just changed to 'Before shipping' not long ago! and I'm terrifyingly happy because ever since FL informed me that Celine's delayed, quite a number of other customers who'd order around the same time as me have been asking them the same thing as well ("estimated shipping date? shipping date? when will my order be shipped?").

I got so excited, I even took a screenshot of it ._.

The queries at the care service centre has been piling up for some time, and FL usually doesn't take this long to reply! the most was 1-2 business days?

I guess FL must be having some inside issues gone wrong that is causing them to be in such haywire lately, I don't blame them perhaps things have been quite hard on them to the extent where they'd even have to discontinue the production of their popular FeePle60s, 65s and pukipuki (though hardly hear much on the pukipuki's).

I might get the LittleFee Juri '13 event faceplate for a 'sorry for the delay' gift (might).
I'm not someone who goes around having a whole lot of BJDs. Truth be told, Celine's going to be my first and last BJD. So I will sell off the event head to whoever's that is interested in it. $35 with shipping maybe? I'll probably get it posted up on a forum. I haven't heard of anyone in Malaysia who's got FL dolls, I may even be the first for all you know.

That's probably about it from me. I wouldn't say that I ordered Celine at the wrong time of the year when FL is in such disarray. They do a good job from what I see, fingers crossed!

Hello all,

Just a small update on my blog, my next review will be on Garnier's new Nutrisse Cream [Nourishing Permanent Hair Color] no. 53 -Macadamia- Medium Golden Brown hair dye with 2x more care!

*phew*

That'll be in days-weeks to come once the hair color sets in.

I wouldn't wanna spoil it all now, since I have just dyed my hair this morning.

(my boyfriend does a good job with dye-ing my hair :)

(he's not a hairstylist, he's got some experience with it)!

I'll be posting up an unboxing video on YouTube on my first BJD, Celine, who's estimated to be shipped out by early November (that I can't chicken out now having made it public).

BJD - ball jointed doll -

I ordered her from FairyLand on August 21.

She is a MiniFee girl (MSD size, ~40cm tall)

I purchased her with default makeup (no sleeping face), large bust, cutie legs, a pair of #3 hands and a pair of random 16mm acrylic colored eyes. My boyfriend wanted blue eyes, brown for me, I realised that brown eyes are nowhere to be found on taobao!! plus i got a pair of sky blue eyes aside just in case things don't turn out as planned :)

That aside, I'll be attending this year's Comic Fiesta with LGCC (Lost Gospel Cosplay Community). My boyfriend and I will be doing:

Magica duo (Charlotte Witch x Tomoe Mami magical girl ver.) --Day 2 

and

Otoboku couple (Mizuho x Takako black school uniform ver.)   --Day 1 :)

*(Magica short for - Puella Magi Madoka Magica and

 Otoboku short for - Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru aka "The Maiden's are Falling for Me")

I just wanna say a big thanks to my boyfriend who dyed my hair for me and another big thanks to mom for offering out her help on sewing our costumes for Comic Fiesta :D

CandyDoll Lemonade Pink Lipstick Review

Hello everybody! This is my very first blog post for a lipstick review.

Today I stumbled across a new line of products introduced to a popular brand outlet store known as SaSa :)

I went there to actually pick up some items that were reserved for me as the storewide Pinktober Sales just started yesterday (1/10/13 - 31/10/13).

That aside, I saw a small range of products lined up nicely in the front of the shop with a picture of a girl wearing country lolita attire, the brand name CandyDoll. 

They had 3/4 different colors of lipstick displayed on the rack. Among them was a nudy baby pink lipstick which caught my attention.

I'm a big fan of nudy colored lipsticks for one: it's something you can match easily with anything and two: they can look great for normal occasions and cosplays!

So here's how the packaging looks like:

It has a very cute and vintage look to the cover (with everything else in Japanese)

The back of the package (Japanese) and the price of this lipstick RM58.00

For the price, I would say it IS quite heavy for just a lipstick, but for those who do appreciate the lipstick and are comparing it to other known brands popular for their nudy colors such as :

Bobbi Brown, Dior, or MAC

This is quite a good deal! I will give it ★★★★☆ for those who wanna cut down on spending a lot more on expensive brands like these.

But, for others who always stick to the mid-range brands such as the ones we see in Watsons :

Maybelline, Silkygirl, LipIce ,or china (brandless) brand

This brand will cost twice/trice as much. I'll give it ★★★☆☆  because with the money it can buy at least 2/3 lipsticks in Watsons (with a discount to it as well!)

CandyDoll's price range would definitely fit in with:

DollyWink, KOJI and Majorlica Majorca

So if you are a regular user of any of these brands, then CandyDoll is a perfect match for you!

The lipstick case is probably the most fattest one I've ever encountered in my life.
It has a shiny black surface with golden patterns of the CandyDoll theme on the lid, along with CandyDoll logo.

The katakana words under the word CandyDoll says "CandyDoll Lipstick N Lemonade Pink 3C"

This is how the lipstick looks like. Plain and classy looking.

One thing amazing about this lipstick is that it's a buildable color! and I love how much I can control this lipstick when I'm applying it. It applies on really smoothly, almost like a creamy feel and texture to the lips, plus the coverage is really awesome. It just feels like applying lip concealer with color plus it's not as pasty as lip concealer! Love it!

I don't know if this was really useful to you guys and you guys are probably gonna brick me for this because the change doesn't look so obvious if looked at in a glance. But you can definitely tell that my lip color now looks even and a little more nudy with a hint of baby pink. It looks really cute! :)

I've worn this all around the mall with me today and I even had my lunch and drinks like normal but this lipstick is really hardy in that sense that there really isn't a need for re-application after all that because the color still remains!

The lipsticks feels creamy all-in-all and somehow has excellent coverage for that kind of color for my (darker colored) lips. It feels like it's dewy yet it's not. It leaves very little on tissuepapers when blotting and yet everything stays in tact!

Perhaps I may be over-selling this product or over-rating it, but this is my honest review on it! :)

Moisturizing: ★★★☆☆

If you're looking for a good lipstick, and you're a big time nudy color fan I would highly recommend the CandyDoll lipsticks for you!
